Arbor Day Tree Planting

The City of Modesto has been recognized by the National Arbor Day Society as a tree City USA for 25 consecutive years in 2005. Each year, Arbor Day is celebrated at one of the area’s schools. Local groups, organizations and individuals are invited each year to participate by donating trees to be planted at these different school sites.

Students participate in the annual planting and the event provides a positive opportunity to educate them about the benefits of trees. If you would like to support this wonderful event, please contact the Greater Modesto Tree Foundation.
