Volunteer Information

The Greater Modesto Tree Foundation is always looking for volunteers to plant trees and organize projects in the area. We need your help! Our volunteer program is for people young and young-at-heart, linking your strengths and interests with opportunities in the community.

The first step in volunteering is to learn all about the different programs and opportunities the Foundation has available. You can check our Calendar for upcoming events for your chance to get in on the fun.

Another beneficial step in volunteering is taking a Tree Tour through Modesto. On these tours you will learn identification and characteristics of the common landscape trees of the Modesto area.

Events for tree planting or outreach are happening almost all year long! To find out what is happening in your area you can sign up for the Tree Foundation email list. Whenever there is a public event going on, we will send out a notice to let you know. You can also check our Calendar page for up-to-date events.
